The Presidency International Montessori School
The Presidency Montessori is a leading educational institution at Pallichanvilai Kandanvilai post, Kanyakumari district, Tamilnadu, India. Formed in the year 2015 by Michael Raja S and his wife Monisha Michael, the motto of the school is to impart quality Montessori education to the children.
Presidency International Montessori, whose idea was of Michael and Monisha, is the first shop of theirs that is aimed at a holistic approach to education that focuses on the whole child. The idea was to provide a space where children could engage their imaginations and be independent. This meant allowing the children to learn at their own pace and, as a result, foster their creativity as well as a lifelong love for learning.
In 2020, Presidency Montessori program got a broader reach when it collaborated with NCVRT (New Delhi) and formed the Presidency Montessori Training Association. Provided by this organization comprehensive training programs for the ones who are interested in the Montessori education; this equips them with the necessary skills and knowledge that change learning environment to more caring and flourishing one for the kids.
In order to continue their progress they carried on with the development of Presidency Montessori. Following the establishment of Presidency Montessori House of Children on Kalai Nagar Road near Irulappapuram fish market in Nagercoil – 2, in 2022. This novel facility is dedicated to children in the formative years who are longing for a secure and appetizing environment where they can grow and expand their intellectual capacities.
Mr. Raja S, the candidate, holds a strong academic foundation. Having BA in commerce, master in business administration and even being diploma holder in AMI Montessori primary education, his skills in business management and child-oriented teaching methods guarantees that Presidency Montessori is running smoothly for many years to come.
Michael Monish’s wife and co-founder, Monisha, also has her contribution to the effectiveness of the venture. Monisha is a Bachelor of Science holder, holds a Bachelor of Education and a Diploma in Montessori Education (6-12 years old). Her love for education and the knowledge of child development influences the curriculum design and the teachers.
Presently, Presidency Montessori is an evidence of a child nurturing and supportive educational environment that promotes independence for proper development of the whole person. Applying the ideas of a Montessori method in the course of modern, live-wire education the young people develop into people who are both self-assured and caring and who possess profound thoughts.
With their dedicated approach and skills, Michael Raja S and Monisha Michael, keep Presidency Montessori always at the lead, so that they have the opportunity to touch the lives of many children and to shape the future of education.
